With huge venues in Glasgow like the Hydro and Hampden, there is always something on that attracts visitors. But during the summer months, Glasgow is especially busy, from hosting some of the UK’s most popular music festivals and attracting visitors from both inside and outside the city.
Now is the perfect opportunity for hosts to boost their bookings this summer, so we have listed some big events that are happening in Glasgow in the next few months that you should know about.
TRNSMT
This will be TRNSMT’s third year running at Glasgow Green – the park which is just a stones throw away from the City Centre. The music festival has had a great impact on local tourism in Glasgow, attracting around 120,000 gig-goers – many of whom are from outside of the city – and generating an economic impact in excess of £10 million. This large scale music festival is bound to increase bookings for property’s surrounding Glasgow Green and beyond, so make sure your property is up to scratch.
